New Street – Stevenston

The Scope of the Contract involved the alteration of New Street, situated in Stevenston town centre, from an existing two-way traffic system to a one-way system in a southbound direction.

The west footway was realigned, and drainage channels installed

The existing footways were widened and resurfaced.

New drainage was installed, and the existing carriageway was resurfaced with the addition of new road markings and traffic signs to facilitate the new one way system.

Hamilton Tarmac worked closely with the existing businesses in the area to ensure the disruption was kept to a minimum.

The works were started and completed within the time allocated by North Ayrshire Council.
